1. Ordering Medicals through VirtGate - Watermark and Hooper Holmes currently not available
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - We have just heard word from VirtGate that both are now available. Barrington has requested that both be added for your benefit so that you are not limited. We are hoping to have these up and running over the next month. We are currently in the process of setting up the contracts and will keep you informed once we have them completed.
Update: Sep 17, 2009 - Watermark and Hooper Holmes are now available through VirtGate. If you run into any problems please contact Barrington.

2. Equitable Life Contacts - With our recently new MGA with Equtiable Life VirtGate was missing contact information for Equitable's Head Office
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Head Office contact information for Equitable Life has now be added to the "What's New" Section on VirtGate

3. Manulife New Business Notifications - Some of you had mentioned that you were not receiving NB notices from Manulife in your secur inbox.
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - New Business Notification have now been fixed. If you are still not receiving them please do not hesitate to contact Kelly Westheuser - kwestheuser@barringtonwealth.com
4. VirtGate Reporting - Individual vs. Corporately Owned Policies - It was suggested that this be an option in VirtGate.
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - We have taken this back to our VirtGate support Team and they are looking into this. We will keep you posted on when this may be available. If there are any other suggestion for VirtGate please do not hesitate to contact us, we will always inquire.
5. Key Admin Distribution Email
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Barrington has added a Key Admin Distribution Email listing under "What's New" in VirtGate

6. VirtGate Policy Satus - Some of you were looking for a discription for all policy Statuses available in VirtGate
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Barrington is currently working on this and this should be completed by the end of the week. As soon as it is completed we will attached it to the VirtGate Manual and upload it to our website.
Update: Sept 18, 2009 - The VirtGate Manual has been revised and the status descriptions have been added. The Manual has been added to the website for viewing. Location - BWP Key Admin Networking, VirtGate Training

7. Pilot Program with Manulife - Pre Approved New Business Contracts before they are issued to ensure accuracy.

10. Medical Requirements in VirtGate - Contacted VirtGate to inquire about the ability to have medicals prepolulate based on Age/Amount and products so ordering medicals is made easier & less room for error.
Update as of Sept 15, 2009 - Yes this is possible however this will take time & resources on VirtGate part. We will keep you informed on any progress.
11. Links to Software under "What's New" - We had advised that we would provide a direct link to download software for all carrier that had it available on their website.
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Barrington is currently looking at this and will advise once this project has been completed.
Udate: Sept 18, 2009 - Carrier links have been added to the software updates under "What's New" on VirtGate. Some of them are direct links to the download, however most carriers require a log in id in order to get access to the download. For those carriers that you need to log into you will find a link to the website only.

12. Equitable Life Contracting - Do you require New Business in order to contract with Equitable??
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Contracting is currently waiting on an answer. We will advise as soon as we confirm.
Update: Setp 16, 2009 - Equitable Life has advised that they do not require New Business in order to set up a contract.
13. Access to Carrier Comp Statements - Informed by several individual that they were having problems obtaining parts of commission statements for their Firms
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - This matter has been resolved for the one Firm and Carrier that was discussed at the meeting. Now reviewing all carrier comp access to make sure that they are able to retire "all" information that their firm needs.
14. VirtGate Access - It had been brought to our attention that some individuals were not able to order meds through VirtGate.
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - The access for this individual has been fixed, they are now able to order meds through VirtGate
15. Carrier Site Client Access Limited- Some individuals were experiencing problems access all client information for their firms.
Update: Sept 15, 2009 - Sun Life access has been fixed this morning.Currently working on getting the rest updated. Will advise as soon as this is completed.
